New live set is just about ready. Working out a few "mechanical" tweaks.
Something new for our fans - check back for details about live broadcasts of our rehearsals and shows. We should have information posted within the next week.

Time for a change. With summer winding down and the band moving forward in a slightly new direction, it was time to toss aside the skins of the old website.

Being down one member of the band has had its challenges. However, within every challenge lies opportunity.
As we begin to write material for the next album, we are rethinking our approach to percussion. Do we use drum machines? Do we use loops and trigger them live or play to a sequence? Do we attempt to play percussion while playing other instruments? Do we bring another drummer on board? ....... Maybe Yes, to all of the above. Sky is the limit now and the next album will be far more experimental that the last.
We promise to still sound like Outgrowth ;-).

Being the massive Prog Rock fans that we are, we seized a last minute opportunity to see King Crimson perform at the Park West in Chicago last night. Easily one of the most amazing shows we have ever seen. We even ended up on the KC Blog site......

With Outgrowth - version 2.0 well in development, we are continuing to promote our debut CD and will be back on the road soon. We expect to be back into the full swing of things by mid September.

It is with regret that we announce the departure of Bill Hamilton, drummer for Outgrowth. Bill has decided to leave the band to focus on his personal life. We wish Bill all the best with whatever life has in store for him.
